66% More Conversions in 3.5 Months — No Crystal Ball Needed.

66% More Conversions in 3.5 Months — No Crystal Ball Needed.

Because Results Are Built, Not Predicted

At TFA, we’re not psychics, but we are pretty good at predicting what happens when a smart strategy meets performance marketing.

Psychics.com came to us with a foundation that showed real promise. They had a loyal customer base and early indicators of high conversion potential, with branded and DSA campaigns already generating efficient results and above-average ROAS. Despite their solid footing, the account lacked structure, strategy, and the precision needed to scale. Core campaign elements were either missing or misaligned, and it wasn’t until a full rebuild and the introduction of a data-driven strategy that performance truly took off.

The goal wasn’t just to increase spend, but to drive smarter, more sustainable outcomes: reaching more qualified users, improving ROAS, lowering acquisition costs, and unlocking consistent, month-over-month revenue growth in a niche within a highly regulated space. We saw a clear opportunity, with the right rebuild, we knew this account didn’t just have room to grow, it had room to outperform.

The result? Big, measurable wins, fast.

The Challenge

Psychics.com operates in a niche, highly scrutinized vertical where advertising platforms, especially Google, impose stricter policies and more limited ad approval pathways. Terms related to spiritual services, future prediction, and metaphysical offerings often trigger disapprovals or reduced ad visibility due to compliance concerns and platform sensitivity.

That meant the margin for error was razor-thin. We had to generate high-quality leads, improve ROAS, and scale performance, without triggering policy violations or wasting spend. And we had to do it fast, in an environment where visibility could vanish overnight if campaigns weren’t carefully structured and closely monitored.

The Strategy

We didn’t just tweak a few settings, we rebuilt the entire paid media ecosystem from the ground up.

The original structure lacked clarity, campaign overlap was causing inefficiencies, and budgets weren’t aligned to what actually drove conversions. To fix that, we consolidated campaigns, aligned creative with user intent, and implemented a performance framework built for scale, efficiency, and policy compliance.

Here’s How We Did It

  • Structured a new account architecture with clear naming conventions, properly mapped conversion goals, and performance-focused safeguards.

  • Launched branded search and Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) to capture high-intent traffic and long-tail queries, which consistently delivered strong conversion efficiency.

  • Rebuilt Performance Max campaigns using new creative assets — refreshed copy, visuals, and audience signals — while segmenting asset groups by user behavior and product type to drive more relevant outcomes.

  • Refined targeting with updated audience definitions and a robust negative keyword library that reduced wasted spend and improved cost-per-conversion.

  • Reallocated budgets dynamically, shifting investment toward top performers based on real-time insights.

  • Monitored performance weekly, pausing underperformers quickly and doubling down on winning segments to maintain consistent growth.

We also monitored week-by-week performance to double down on what worked and paused what didn’t.

The Results (YoY Performance)

In just 3.5 months of active management, Psychics.com saw clear and consistent gains across key metrics, especially when benchmarked year-over-year:

  • Revenue increased by +43.4% overall, with April and May surging up +85% and +128%, respectively.

  • ROAS climbed +57.7%, with April peaking at over +166% growth YoY.

  • Purchases rose by +66.9%, with May alone delivering a +164% increase.

  • Customer acquisition efficiency improved dramatically — with CAC dropping an average of -45.5% across the active period.

Even June, a historically slower month for spiritual services, when audience interest tends to dip as summer kicks off, still delivered a +27.6% YoY lift in purchase volume, highlighting durable gains even when intent was low.

Campaign Snapshot

  • YoY Purchase Growth: +66.9%

  • YoY ROAS Growth: +57.7%

  • Conversion Volume: Nearly 2X increase vs. prior year

  • Efficiency Gains: Customer acquisition costs dropped by over 45%

  • Top Performers: Branded Search and Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) drove the most efficient conversions

The strongest contributors? Branded campaigns and Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) they consistently delivered efficient conversions and scale-ready ROAS. All while staying fully compliant with platform policies in a sensitive vertical.

The Optimizations That Drove Growth

  • ✅ Built new branded and competitor campaigns

  • ✅ Replatformed Performance Max with new asset groups

  • ✅ Optimized cost-to-conversion ratios with surgical budget shifts

  • ✅ Launched a successful DSA campaign to capture long-tail traffic

  • ✅ Enhanced keyword targeting + cleaned up negative keywords

  • ✅ Cut inefficient campaigns and re-invested in winners

What This Means

Psychics.com is a proof point that you don’t need to throw wild budgets at the wall to scale. With the right setup, insights, and team running your campaigns, you can unlock big growth in a short window, even in the most niche categories like this.
